WHITE JOHN SPENCER Former Engineering Instructor at Hamworthy Engineering. Passed away peacefully on 3rd September 2011 in his 87th year. Husband to the late Doreen. A loving husband to Doris, proud father of Andrew and Kate and loving grandfather to Christian, Robbie and Georgina. His Funeral Service will be held at St. James' Church, Thames Street, Poole on Wednesday 14th September at 2pm followed by Committal at Poole Crematorium. July 23rd BBQ Cancelled due to lack of support
Sadly Your committee has been forced to abandon our planned BBQ event at Morden village hall on 23rd July 2011.
The response from members has been entirely inadequate and this left them with no alternative. The deposit paid for the site is non refundable, & they are checking that we have no further liability.
If you don't want future events to be cancelled register your comments now. |

Ron Smith R.I.P.
Dennis Martin has informed us today (09/02/2011) that Ron Smith the Hamworthy Combustion service engineer in the north east died a few days ago.
Our condolences go to Ron's friends & Family.
We have no further information at this time. |

John and Janet Monaghan (Daughter and son-in-law) HAS REPORTED THE DEATH OF ERNEST GREEN
It is with great sadness that we have to report the death of Ernest Green on 6th January 2011 aged 88 years. He was a 21 club member since the date the club was formed. He joined Hamworthy on the Quayside in 1953 and worked in the toolroom until his retirement some thirty or so years later. His funeral will take place on
Tuesday 18 January at 1.15pm at St Johns Church Broadstone followed by cremation at Poole Crematorium at 2.00pm.
